“Bracing for Impact: Arts & Culture in Uncertain Times.” Acknowledging the economic and political instability of the next four years.
Raise a glass at this session as we discuss what the on again – off again trade wars and the general economic uncertainty of the future means for the Arts & Culture Sector in Manitoba. How are tariffs affecting your organization and what can we do as a sector to mitigate the impact? Additionally, what role does Arts & Culture play at this time, as threats (or jokes) of annexation loom over us.
This round of Draft Culture is scheduled for March 27, 2025, at Little Brown Jug Tap Room (336 William Avenue, Winnipeg, MB. R3A 0H7).
These small, monthly get-togethers for our members, were created so that we could exchange ideas, concerns, beefs and anything else that came to mind – while sitting with a group of our peers in an informal setting. Bringing together our members from across the Arts and Culture sector, these Draft Culture events are casual, insightful and a great opportunity to connect.
As before, we will limit the size of this event to 15 people, so that all attendees can participate and get the maximum value from these discussions. Registration is only for members, so please ensure your membership is up to date. If the event is full, please join the waitlist as spots may open up.
