MCMA: The Beginnings of Jazz

This interactive session will include jazz history, listening to some of the great jazz musicians, and Eric will mix in some live playing examples in a variety of jazz styles. For musicians and non-musicians alike, this class will help you gain a stronger understanding of the foundations and context of jazz music and how it evolved over during its first 100 years.
**As this class is in-person, we will require proof of full vaccination before the class starts**
