OurToba Film Fest

OurToba Film Festival is a one-day short film festival which celebrates the artistic achievements of women, non-binary and gender-diverse filmmakers while creating an opportunity for our community to connect, network and feel inspired. We feature established and emerging filmmakers from all over Canada with a focus on Prairie filmmakers. The festival will take place on June 8, 2024, on the WAG-Qaumajuq rooftop.
OurToba Film Fest will open at 7:00PM with a reception catered by WOW Catering and a cash bar. At 8:30PM, Larysa Musick will kick off the event with her time-bending nostalgic sound in a league with Joni Mitchell, Stevie Nicks, and Janis Joplin. Once the sun sets, OurToba will screen 13 short films across the city skyline. There are 8 selected films made by Manitoba filmmakers.
