On Saturday, February 10th, at 8 pm at the Caboto Centre, the Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra presents an evening of daring dancing, jumpin’ jazz, and rockin’ raffle prizes as they play some of the greatest music from the swing era! With guest vocalist Stacey Nattrass and conducted by Alexis Silver, this is a night of swing you won’t soon forget! Grab your best partner and your finest dancing shoes, and come show your support for live local music, talented artists, and an amazing organization with a long, rich history of creating great music in Manitoba and beyond.
The Winnipeg Jazz Orchestra has been a staple of Winnipeg’s rich musical arts and culture community for over 25 years and has been instrumental in supporting the careers of countless Manitoba-made artists. They also strive to enhance our cultural scene by bringing artists from around the country and the world to share their talents with Winnipeg audiences. Their mission of equity, diversity, inclusion and excellence in the field of music has led to events like their upcoming International Women’s Day Concert in March and many educational events, symposiums, and concerts that help enrich our community every year.
