Calls for Submissions

OurToba Film Network’s Reel Brews speaker series returns on June 6th 2026. Reel Brews speakers series fosters direct engagement with industry leaders in an informal setting, allowing participants to network and gain valuable insights into navigating the film sector. The discussions are participant-led, ensuring that conversations are tailored to participants’ needs and provide a meaningful exchange of information.

This time, we will be in conversation with Andrew Yankiwski, the founder of Precursor Productions. Andrew’s studio has become an industry-leading post-production facility in Winnipeg with a portfolio that includes: Netflix, HBO, Amazon Studios, Warner Bros, Paramount, Universal, PBS, Sony Pictures Animation and many others. This is a valuable opportunity for those interested in audio and music production for music, film/TV, video games, etc.

The event will occur at the Artspace Boardroom (Located on the 4th floor) at 100 Arthur Street from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm.
