Hi, I’m Patrick Johanneson.
I write science fiction & fantasy. My work has been published in On Spec, Tesseracts 14, Daily Science Fiction, The Arcanist, Parallel Prairies, Alternate Plains, and Cloud Lake Literary, among others. I won the Manitoba Short Fiction contest in ’04.
I also take a lot of photos, many of them after dark (I particularly like getting shots of the aurora and the Milky Way).

Julia Mark

I make quirky illustrative art using acrylics, gouache, watercolours and ink. My work often includes characters and animals inspired by wildlife. I like to tell stories through art and make playful, colourful scenes. Holding a Fine Art Honours degree from the University of Manitoba, I have spent most of my adult life immersed in both making art and teaching it. I regularly participate in the Winnipeg art scene showing work at a variety of galleries and some public art pieces. I take inspiration from a variety of sources and am most comfortable with a brush in my hand.

Young United Church

Young United Church (YUC) has served Winnipeg's West Broadway neighbourhood for many years from the Crossways in Common community campus at 222 Furby Street. Crossways in Common is wheelchair accessible with washroom facilities on each floor.
YUC has three core focus areas: honouring inclusivity; ministry grounded in music and the arts; and social justice and supporting the West Broadway neighbourhood.
We are committed to supporting music and the arts in Manitoba and are willing to work with interested individuals and organizations to meet their rental needs. We have space available on flexible terms for rehearsals, theatre productions, concerts, and other artistic performances. We can also accommodate meetings and functions and have classrooms and offices that artists can use as studio space.
Our 3,170 square foot sanctuary and 2,000 square foot mini-gym are ideal rehearsal spaces for theatre groups and other performing artists preparing for the Winnipeg Fringe Festival and other events. Our sanctuary has great acoustics and adaptable seating; making it an excellent music and theatre venue.
Rentals are available throughout the year at hourly, full-day, and half-day rates. We are also willing to work with renters looking for long-term leasing opportunities.

Amine Hob

A graduate of the School of Fine Arts, Amine Hob has built his artistic path through diverse creative experiences. Passionate about visual storytelling, he now focuses on digital illustration and 2D animation. He has created several animated works that combine strong graphic design with visual narrative.  His work has been recognized at a national level, including an award in digital creation. His artistic universe blends high visual standards with contemporary exploration.

D-Sky

D-Sky is an music producer from northern Manitoba, Primarily producing dance tracks inspired by many great dance artists. At the moment D-Sky is producing "Trance Music" spacifically. He has a spectrum of genres but is finding an identity with dance music. He hopes to gain success in his journey and already has been successful with two releases. Here on his profile you can find one of his releases in the listed links. D-Sky is enthuisastic to showcase his work and hopes to inspire others on their journey in the music scene.
