April 24: Marketing and Communications with Katie Inverarity

Join us for a crash course on marketing & communications for arts organizations! During this session, you’ll learn why you should prioritize patron loyalty while seeking new audiences. Hear about scale of hall and ticket pricing strategies. Explore best practices for campaign planning, revenue and expense budgeting for subscriptions and single ticket efforts. We’ll also talk digital, with a specific focus on email communications and social media strategies.

Katie Inverarity (she/her) is currently the Director of Marketing & Communications for the Royal Manitoba Theatre Centre. Previous positions include Director of Marketing & Communications for the Canadian Stage Company (Toronto); Director of Executive Recruitment with TRG (Colorado); and has also held marketing positions with the Windsor Symphony Orchestra, Mirvish Productions (Toronto) and the Toronto Symphony Orchestra.

A lifelong learner, this fall, Katie will complete her Human Resources Certificate through Red River College.
