Creative Accessibility: Deaf Protocols

Created in partnership with Arts AccessAbility Network of Manitoba

Join Alexandra Calbay-Martin as she discusses important accessibility issues for the Deaf community. The workshop will include tips about the Deaf, deaf myths and communication. This workshop will help you to learn about Deaf culture and protocols and how to be more welcoming and accessible to the Deaf community.

Creative Accessibility is a series of workshops that will explore disability art, the experiences of artists with disabilities and how to make art accessible. These workshops will be beneficial not only for emerging artists with disabilities, but artists at all levels of their career with and without disabilities.
