From Page to Stage: An evening of Spoken Word at Creative Manitoba
FREE and open to the public
Join us for an evening of spoken word where we will be celebrating the launch of atrophy, a chapbook by youth poet Jules Stevenson! Completed during her time as a mentee in Creative Manitoba’s rural youth mentorship program, come see and hear her words leap off the page in an engaging poetry performance.
Supporting Jules are members of the newly formed 2019 Winnipeg Poetry Slam team, who will be competing in Guelph this fall for the national championship at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word!
Hosted by writer and youth mentor Steve Locke. Chapbooks will be for sale at the event!
August 2, 2019
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Venue: Creative Manitoba - 4th Floor, 245 McDermot Avenue
