Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is the strategy of setting up your website so it earns as much “free” traffic from search engines like Google as possible.
By optimizing for SEO, you can increase organic (unpaid) traffic to your website, and help make sure that the visitors arriving on your page are the people who are looking to work with or buy from you.
This workshop will cover the 9 things you need to know about SEO, including:
- Search + SERP
- Mobile’s rising role in SEO
- Search intent + the SEO funnel
- Ranking factors
- Smart link-building strategies
- The key to keywords
- Titles, tags + descriptions
- Site indexing
- How to give Google what it wants
