About The Conference
Manitoba Showcase is an annual visual & performing arts conference that features some of the best Canadian artists from a wide range of genres, connecting them with future opportunities and collaboration. The preeminent event of its kind in Manitoba, Showcase engages over 150 artists, presenters, agents, managers, and industry stakeholders to exchange ideas and develop and rekindle relationships.
Applications are open to performers of all types, from music (traditional, contemporary, classical, jazz, hip hop etc.) to dance, theatre, magic and variety acts. Manitoba Showcase 2023 will be held October 26th-29th, 2023, in Steinbach, Manitoba, and will feature 15 – 20 performing artists.
Artists are selected by a jury to perform in three live showcases for an audience of arts organizations (presenters) seeking to book acts to tour to their communities in 2024/25. Following the conference, Manitoba Arts Network coordinates block-booked tours of the showcasing artists throughout the province based on interest generated at the MB Showcase.
