Changing Hands: An MCC Fundraiser

Changing Hands, set for Saturday, June 25, 2022, 12-4 pm is a fun event that will take place outside and undercover in the Artspace Drayway in Winnipeg’s Exchange District. The event will feature hands-on craft mini-workshops, refreshments, raffle, and a sale of pre-loved, hand-crafted items and craft materials, tools and supplies, all in support of MCC’s Growing Craft outreach activities. If you want first crack at the sale items, sign up for an all-inclusive ticket or VIP entry and come right at 11 am!

Yes, MCC’s traditional battle of Cake vs Pie will rage deliciously on at this event.

What the heck is a “drayway”?
It’s a covered alleyway with loading docks. The Artspace Drayway runs between Arthur and King streets. It’s getting the full Exchange Biz “clean and disinfect” treatment just prior to our event!
What are your covid protocols?
We’ve planned this fundraiser as an outdoor event to reduce the risk of covid transmission.
Will there be washroom access?
Yes, in the Artspace building. The main floor has gendered multi-stall washrooms with wheelchair accessible stalls with handrails.
Is this event wheelchair accessible?
Yes. For washroom access, the west side entrance of Artspace, off King St., has a wheelchair lift to access the main lobby and washroom area.
