Chris Anthony Tabirara

Hi,

I am Chris Tabirara. I love to play drums.

I’ve been blessed to play with several skilled artists, including Hera Nalam, YBK Shakur, Yeho Astioco, and Jovelle Balani.

Jan Jenkins

Raised for the most part in Quebec, Jan Jenkins worked in Alberta’s energy industry until she moved to Manitoba where she now creates original art for smaller spaces and wearable art for that unique look. Her work is influenced by the meditative art form of zendoodling along with intricate repeating patterns found in textiles, decorative tiling and nature. Most memorable for Jan are having two of her designs selected by the town of Russell, MB to adorn their decorative main street steel arches, having her In The Wind artworks included in Manitoba Art Network’s touring exhibition program, and participating in a Manitoba Arts Network digital collaboration videography project with musician Raine Hamilton. She is a member of the Manitoba Society of Artists, The Drawn Together Collective, the Art Gallery of Soutwestern Manitoba, Wasagaming Community Arts and Arts West Council. The BeauHead Arts Festival is a two day festival that celebrates and promotes visual, literary and performance arts. It is held annually on the 3rd Friday & Saturday of August in Beausejour Manitoba.

Hood and Dagger Productions Inc

Hood and Dagger Productions Inc. is a registered charity and not-for-profit community theatre company in Winnipeg, founded in January 2024. We produce three-show Seasons of live community theatre, specializing in thrillers, mysteries, and tales of adventure.

Winner of the 2025 “Not-for-Profit of the Year” Award, we work together to create a respectful and positive environment for our volunteer Cast, Crew, Board, and Committee members. We provide opportunities for everyday Winnipeggers to get involved in the Arts, whatever your experience level or background.

Our vision is to Build Community through Community Theatre. We aspire to create more than community theatre, but a community event, by supporting local businesses and partnering with a local charity for every show.

Manitoba Legal Clinic for the Arts

The Manitoba Legal Clinic for the Arts provides free legal assistance to artists, art, culture, and community organizations in Manitoba that do not have a lawyer and cannot afford legal assistance. The law clinic is operated by law students at the University of Manitoba Faculty of Law, and it is the only clinic in Manitoba to provide free legal information and services tailored specifically to artists and arts organizations. All information and services provided by law students are supervised by experienced lawyers. All that is required to access the service is an internet connection.
